Software: Getway Raid Recovery;
RAID Type: RAID 5EE with 4 drives;
Malfunction Description: A sudden power-down, RAID information missing, can not find the Drive Label, can not access the database.
Step 1: Analyze Mode Selection
If you can't get the data by the "Smart Mode", you can try the "User-defined Mode"
Select the "User-defined Mode", and then click the "Next" button.
This mode is designed for the professionals. It requires the user know the hard disk's correct parameters. If you don't know the correct parameters, you can get the correct parameters by continuously matching the different parameters. (The incorrect parameters setting will cause the analysis failed.)
Step 2: Load Image & Set Raid Parameters
In order to successfully rebuild the RAID, you should load the images or disks according to the right hard disk order. As the follow picture:
We select the RAID type: Raid 5EE, stripe size: 8K , Stripe order: RIGHT ASYNCHRONEOUS, DELAY value: 1. And then click the "Next" button.
Step 3: Analyze & Export Image
Please click the "Analyze" button after all the parameters be set. The parameters information which you set will be displayed in RAID INFO, as the follow picture:
B) Scan Device:
You can get the partition info by click the "scan device" button, if you set the correct parameters, as the below picture:
If you can't see the partition info, maybe you didn't set the right parameters or the raid has an offset value. You should back and reset the parameters or fill in the "offset value", as the follow picture:
B) File View:
The Demo Version has the "File View" function as the Licensed version, so that you can first confirm the data before you purchase our software.
Select a "NTFS" partition (Now the version 2.0 just supports the NTFS' file view. It can't support other file systems now. However, you can get the data directly. We will update the software support other file systems in future.) and click "File View" button, a file browser will be popped up. You can view the folders and the files from the browser after successfully analyze. You can know the analysis was successful or not by this step.
If only part of the data was displayed or displayed data was incorrect, the reason is maybe the parameters which you set were incorrect (Although there are some differences among the different stripe orders, some of files coincide in the same location; that's why you got the incomplete files or only part of the data when the parameters didn't be set correctly. You should reset the parameters under the circumstances)
If parameters were completely correct and the files can be read normally, you can export the image.
C) Export Image:
After you verify the authenticity of the data, and also you sure you want to get the data back, you can purchase a License Key and activate the software. The detailed operations are as follow: after you get the License key, please click the "About" button and input the ID and License Key to activate the software.
Then you can export the partition as the image files or export the image to other hard disk.

Attention: Please don't export the image to your system disk, otherwise it will cover the data which on your system disk.
Verify the authenticity of the image files, and then reload the image files to the new RAID Array. RAID Recovery is successful.
